Sequre Quantum and MMRAD implement the first self-certified quantum key to protect medical data in real time
For the first time in Chile, a solution combines self-certified quantum keys with post-quantum algorithms to actively protect medical information. The implementation, the result of a collaboration between Sequre Quantum and MMRAD, a Chilean company with nearly two decades of experience developing digital solutions for the healthcare sector, sets a new standard in digital security for electronic medical records and other clinical systems, anticipating the risks of the quantum era.
“Our goal is to bring medical data security to a new level through next-generation cryptographic keys, capable of withstanding even quantum computer attacks. This technology represents critical infrastructure for the country,” says Paulina Assmann, CEO of Sequre Quantum.
At Sequre Quantum, we believe that the protection of medical data must match its value: critical, up-to-date, and built to withstand the future. This milestone with MMRAD is not only a technological breakthrough, but also a clear example of how collaboration can anticipate emerging threats and build digital trust in key sectors like healthcare.
