The Quantum Box: A New Way to Approach Quantum Physics

SeQure Quantum was part of “The Quantum Box: A Journey Through Light,” an innovative exhibition that blended art and science to bring quantum physics closer to the general public.

Developed by the Millennium Institute for Research in Optics (MIRO) and supported by the University of Concepción, the exhibit was open to the public for three months at the Mirador Interactive Museum (MIM) in Santiago. (Credits: Dircom UdeC)

The experience allowed visitors—primarily children and students—to interact with quantum phenomena such as entanglement and superposition through artistic installations and interactive totems. These elements successfully translated complex concepts into accessible sensory experiences for people of all ages.

Our participation featured one of the interactive totems, where we explained how our technology leverages principles of quantum mechanics to generate certified random numbers, essential for secure data encryption.

This totem also featured an AI system capable of answering questions in simple language, adapting to a younger audience through everyday comparisons and clear examples. It is a tool designed to make knowledge an engaging, dynamic, and personalized experience.
